A constant connection with nature, active involvement in society and economic sustainability – or so-called sustainable principles – represent the lifestyle of the director of the Lumar company, Marko Lukić, who, before embarking on his business journey in the family business, was a top climber and alpinist. After completing his climbing career, he decided that what he would do on his business journey would have the least impact on nature and the environment. This was long before anyone started talking or writing about sustainability, “zero emission”, “low carbon” society or life.

Today, Lumar is the leading Slovenian manufacturer of nearly zero-energy prefabricated buildings, which is present in Slovenia and abroad with its innovative and environmentally friendly solutions. The strength of the company and its innovative attitude comes from three generations of the Lukić family, which embarked on the path of sustainable development and construction more than two decades ago.

Marko Lukić shares his knowledge, sustainable orientation, experience and views on current events as a lecturer and speaker at numerous events at home and abroad.
